HMS Colossus was a 74 gun warship built in 1787 at Gravesend and wrecked in 1798. In 2009 a dive trail was installed with numbered dive stations positioned on the seabed around the wreck.
This website allows you to explore the remains of HMS Colossus, watch underwater videos, or orient yourself before diving on the wreck. A diagrammatic interactive 3D model has been designed to assist with divers and non-divers alike.
More information about the work on the wreck of Colossus, including previous surveys, is available on the CISMAS website. If you would like to see photographs or accounts of your visit on this web site please contact CISMAS.
